The gene mutations found in children with kidney defects lead to the neurodevelopmental diseases in the later stages of life. Kidney disease and congenital urinary tract disorder contribute to the 25% of the birth abnormalities in children. The child with a kidney disorder is an alarming signal for the doctors and it should be given higher priority in their diagnosis, without any delay. The underlying gene associated with the kidney disorder provides the best way to encounter the disease. As there are numerous neurons associated with the kidney, there is a very high chance of a child acquiring neural disorder. Some of the kids having kidney disease behave differently so the medication helps then to overcome the problem. The main challenging task is for the kids whose behaviour is normal. It is difficult to trace the problem but not impossible. The mutation known as copy number variations (CNV) largely determine the disease. The copy number variations are the DNA with a large number of gene deletions. In the presence of CNV the dose of impacted genes becomes either lower or higher than the normal ones. This results in kidney disorder of the child. There are now many CNV which has been found to be associated with other diseases which has link to disorder like autism, schizophrenia, etc. Each genes associated with the disease varies according to the individual, so the condition may not be diagnosed by standard clinical procedure.
